Texts by Annamira Jochim and Michael Noser.
“In a nearly existential way, Miriam Sturzenegger looks into the nature and perception of drawing. "The Fog is a Light Darkness" focuses the exchange and merging of paper and walls which constitute her installations. The book allows us a sculptural approach to drawing as a thinking that emerges from the material. In the meandering course from the installations to the drawings in books, we try to find points of reference in the fragile zones between the void, traces and figuration.”
