This is Los Angeles-based, artist, Zach Harris' first monograph. It surveys the last decade of his work, including early, small-scale hand-carved works to his latest large-scale paintings, often featuring new evolutions to his practice such as laser etching and the incorporation of hand-drawing on linen areas. Text by Alexander Keefe and selected images provide a glimpse into the myriad of art historical references contained in each densely compact work while taking readers on a poetic journey that mirrors the lucid dream-like quality of Harris’ universe. Singular worlds unto themselves, the works compel individualized experiences of sustained and thoughtful looking.
