In December of 2011, artist Pentti Monkkonen commissioned 10 artists to create prints to be made into silk scarves. Each scarf is a full-color digital print in an edition of 10, making a total of 100 scarves in the series. The scarves made their debut at Ooga Booga in late December, 2011.
Amy Yao is an artist based in Los Angeles, CA, and New York City, and a former member of the all-female teen punk band Emily’s Sassy Lime (ESL).
