In 1967, immediately following the Six Day War, the state of Israel banned the Palestinian Flag in the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip. In 1980, a law passed that prohibited "political" artwork banning the use of the flag's four colors together at all under penalty of arrest.
The ban was abolished upon the signing of the Olso Accord on September 13, 1993.
Jordan Nassar's father was in Gaza that day and took the photos in this zine, presented as a family photo album.
